Three quick steps

  1. Apply online, or visit a centre with your IC/ID.
  2. Sit a placement test to find your level.
  3. Start classes at the next scheduled intake.

International Students

From application to arrival

  1. Complete the online application form.
  2. Submit your documents for assessment.
  3. Receive a conditional offer letter by email.
  4. Pay the registration fee to confirm your place.
  5. We process your student visa (about 14–30 days).
  6. Pay full tuition once your visa is approved.
  7. Send flight details — we'll meet you at the airport.
Before you apply

Documents & placement test

International applicants should have the following ready:

  • Passport-sized photograph (white background)
  • Valid passport, with at least 18 months' validity
  • Certified copies of high-school transcripts & certificates (plus English translation)
  • Completed medical screening form

Every student takes a placement test so you're placed in the right class with peers at your level. You can also try a free online self-test before you enrol.

Frequently asked questions

Absolutely — that's our origin story. Programmes start at absolute Beginner, and a placement test ensures you learn with peers at your level. The whole method is built to be stress-free and encouraging.
Both. Many flagship "main classes" are live online (often taught by Datuk Eric Chong), paired with tutorial classes that can be online or face-to-face at a centre. Some programmes, like English Grammar, are fully online and self-paced.
Yes. Erican is an authorised Cambridge English examination centre and prepares students for Cambridge (Young Learners + Main Suite) and IELTS, all aligned to the CEFR (A1–C2).
About 8 weeks per level, across six levels from Beginner to Advanced. The intensive International English programme runs around 24 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
Adult course packages (Grammar, Conversation, Business) are advertised from RM3,990 (Value) and RM4,200 (Smart, with installments), including materials. Holiday camps run RM2,880–RM4,480. Other programmes are quoted on enquiry — just ask us for a current fee schedule.
